Founded on the belief that small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same security foundations as enterprise organizations—without the overhead, the jargon, or the vendor agenda.
Olson Tech Services was founded by practitioners who spent years inside the environments they now design. After seeing the same patterns repeatedly—misconfigured tenants, reactive security, undocumented systems—the company was built to solve those problems in a structured, permanent way.
We specialize in the space between "basic IT support" and "enterprise IT"—where most growing businesses live, and where the greatest security risk accumulates without anyone noticing.
Our work is deliberate. Every recommendation is documented. Every engagement ends with an environment the client's team can understand, maintain, and build on.

Founder
Chase Olson is a hands-on technical leader who believes technology should make organizations more confident, secure, and prepared for the future. His approach starts with understanding the people, goals, and challenges behind the technology before designing solutions that create real value.
His career spans infrastructure, cloud platforms, security, and modern workplace environments: designing and supporting enterprise systems, improving security and reliability, and helping organizations navigate complex technology decisions.
What sets Chase apart is his ability to bridge strategy and execution. He understands both why a solution matters and what it takes to build, secure, and maintain it over time. His background in the U.S. Army reinforced the importance of ownership, discipline, and being someone others can rely on.
A well-designed cloud environment isn't a luxury—it's a competitive advantage. When your team isn't fighting broken workflows, chasing down access issues, or reacting to security incidents, they can focus on the work that actually moves your business forward.
We believe every business deserves an IT environment that is documented, governed, and secure by default. Our mission is to build those environments—and to leave every client more capable than when we arrived.
We don't obscure complexity with jargon. We translate technical decisions into clear business language and leave behind documentation that any competent administrator can follow.
Security is not a feature we add at the end. Every architecture decision is evaluated through a security lens. We design defensible environments, not just functional ones.
We don't sell software. We don't get referral fees. Our only incentive is delivering the right recommendation for your environment—and building relationships that last beyond a single engagement.
We resist the temptation to over-engineer. The best cloud environment is one that works reliably, scales predictably, and can be managed without a dedicated IT team of five.
