Olson Tech Services helps small and mid-sized businesses design, secure and run their cloud environments. This policy explains what information we collect through olsontech.dev, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We only ask for information when there is a reason to. You give us information when you:
Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the site or search that sent you here. We use this to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working properly. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only process information on our instructions. These include our website host, our email and scheduling provider, and our accounting software. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need it for legal, tax or record-keeping reasons. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link in that email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. Write to us and we will honour those rights.
Security is what we do for a living, and we apply the same standards internally: multi-factor authentication on every account, least-privilege access, encrypted storage, and vendors chosen for their security posture. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted here.
